The empty boxes come flat in the folded position and are placed in the cardboard chamber of the machine. The folded cardboard is pulled open and formed into a parcel with the erector mechanism. Its lower lids are automatically folded close and taped. The cardboard boxes are now safe and ready to be filled with bottles in the packaging machine.
